The Torino application platform provides a JavaScript runtime environment for developing applications outside the browser.
It provides command-line and web-server interfaces to allow general-purpose and server-side programming tasks to be accomplished using JavaScript.
To run Torino you must have a recent version of the Java runtime environment (JRE) installed on your computer; Torino was developed for Java 6.
